For this full body treatment, a delicious blend of organic lavender, ginger, orange peel and white cinnamon are combined in a poultice inside a malleable muslin, or finely woven cotton fabric. This heated, aromatic parcel is a heavenly health treatment in the raw and is a method used centuries ago by native North Americans. Spa therapists will use the poultice as if it were a hot stone, increasing circulation and loosening tight muscles. The poultice is used to alleviate pain or inflammation by opening the pores and bringing a medicinal heat to the muscles to induce relaxation.
